Huron Christian School (HCS) invites applications for teachers in our Primary and
Junior/Intermediate divisions.If you are an OCT qualified, Christian educator who is passionate about sharing your love for God and discovering the wonder of His creation with children, we would like to hear from you!!If you would like to become part of a school community that is growing, and is enjoying a newly renovated building, please submit your cover letter, resume, statement of faith, philosophy of Christian education, along with three references (professional, personal and pastoral) electronically to the attention of the principal, Mr. Michael Huizenga at principal@huronchristianschool.ca.Receipt of all applications will be acknowledged, but only those
selected for an interview will be contacted.
Huron Christian School will once again be offering our ‘Ready Set Alphabet’ program for children turning 4 in the year 2025. This program provides lots of worship, crafts, games and stories! This is a great stepping stone in getting ready for kindergarten in the fall! 🙌The program will run every Thursday from April 3 to May 8.Please phone or email the school at 519-482-7851 or office@huronchristianschool.ca to reserve your
child’s spot!
Tomorrow, March 26, we will finally be able to have Spirit Wear and Prayer Pal Lunch!Please remember to pack a nut-free lunch for your children.
Our Grade 6 & 7 classes is once again selling JD Sweid Chicken products as a fundraiser for their end of year field trip next Spring 2026.All orders must be inputted through the online order form. You can find the link on our profile for ordering.When ordering you may designate your order towards a Gr. 6 or 7 student or towards the general Ottawa fund which will divide the fundraising total amongst all the students.Our Fundraising Campaign ID is: 3c898.

It has been a fun filled week at HCS!! 😃 This past week the staff has decided to do an “undercover Spirit week” to build lots of excitement and curiosity for the students, finishing it off with everyone wearing Crazy Socks for World Down Syndrome Day!!
