Support & Participate
Huron Christian School is committed to providing exceptional Christ-centered education in Huron County. HCS thrives on the support of our community through prayer, our valued volunteers, and financial gifts.
Financial Gifts
For those interested in supporting Huron Christian School with financial gifts, you can use the button above, or contact treasurer@huronchristianschool.ca, or send an e-transfer. Financial gifts can be earmarked towards any of the following:
- General Fund: The General Fund supports the operating budget at Huron Christian School. This fund receives donations from the Auction, Shop n’ Save, FlipGive, church collections, and direct donations.
- Alumni Fund: The Alumni Fund supports the operating budget at Huron Christian School. Alumni, families that have graduated their last child and friends of HCS are invited to donate to this fund. The focus of this fund is to grow the monthly giving program.
- Tuition Bursary Fund: The Tuition Bursary Fund is a need-based fund to support families in tuition payments. This fund receives donations from church collections, FlipGive and direct donations.
- All Belong Fund: The All Belong fund exists to support and sustain the Student Services Program at Huron Christian School. Rooted in the belief that every child is created in the Image of God, this fund is dedicated to strengthening educational services for students requiring additional learning support. This helps to ensure that all learners are welcomed, valued and have a place of belonging where their spiritual, physical, intellectual and emotional well-being can thrive. This fund receives donations from an established fund, direct donations and specific fundraising events.
- Student Fund: The Student Fund provides support to cover the cost of school trips and special events. This fund receives donations from the Pancake supper, chocolate letter sales, and Mabel labels orders.
- 7/8 Trip Fund: The 7/8 Trip Fund provides financial support for students taking the 7/8 trip every other year. This fund receives donations through frozen food sales, bake sale, plant sales, games at Pancake Supper, and other specific fundraising events.
- Library Fund: The Library Fund provides funds to purchase books and resources for the school library. The fund receives through book sales (used and new).
Note: Any unmarked financial gifts will be allocated to an area of need as determined by the Finance Committee.
Fundraisers
Shop ‘N Save is a gift card program in which HCS benefits by receiving 1%-10% of the value of giftcards purchased. A portion of these proceeds can be allocated to your families or another families tuition. The form can be found here, or contact us at trip@huronchristianschool.ca.
FlipGive is a program in which HCS benefits and earns up to 25% of the value of online purchases and / or giftcard purchases. More details can be found here.
Annual Goods & Services Auction has been a successful fundraiser for HCS for many years. This is a community event and is made possible by the many volunteers, donors, and attendees. Contact us at auction@huronchristianschool.ca
Of Rack N Room is a busy thrift store in Clinton in which all proceeds support Huron Christian School.
- Donate – accept donations of lightly used clothes, toys, furniture, household items, home décor, books, and much more!

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers play an important role in the life of Huron Christian School. Involvement in the school through committees and activities clearly demonstrates our commitment to our partnership in Christian education. Below we have highlighted various way that parents and community members can get directly involved with the school.
