‼️ Last call for Spirit Wear ‼️
Online orders will be open till this Friday, September 25.
On the third Wednesday of each month, students may wear HCS Spirit Wear in place of their regular uniform pieces (for example, an HCS T-shirt instead of their uniform polo).
Please remember that this is not a dress-down day. Regular uniform expectations for bottoms still apply —unless wearing Spirit Wear bottoms.
Grade 8 Class of 2027 Hoodies
We are also offering a special Class of 2027 hoodie for our Grade 8 students this year. These hoodies can also be worn as a regular school sweater throughout the entire school year.
A quick note: On the Creative Casuals order sheet, the hoodie currently says Class of 2026, but the correct year will be 2027 on the finished hoodie.
Our Shop & Save team will be back in the school every Wednesday from 9-11! PLUS we have new shops added this year, Sephora, H&M and Bass Pro Shops!! 👏
This is a great way to support our school, save on tuition, all while shopping at your favourite stores, and even getting gas.
The Grade 8 class is beginning The Big Picture in Colour in Bible class.
This year our school will again participate in the Terry Fox School Run.
We’ll join St. Joseph’s Catholic School on September 25, 2026 at 2:00 at St. Anne’s track to help “Finish It” for Terry. Our goal is to continue to raise funds for cancer research as well as remember the brave men, women and children who have fought battles with cancer. Pledge sheets to raise funds will go home with families or you may donate on our fundraising link (link in bio) or simply bring a “Toonie for Terry” before or on the day of the event.
Mark the day on your calendar and feel free to join us! Please also take a moment at home to talk to your child about someone you know who has had cancer and how we can Walk for another cancer survivor.

Meet the Teacher and BBQ Kickoff!!
Wednesday, September 2, 2026 from 4–6PM
Come drop off school supplies, visit your child(ren)’s classroom, and meet their teacher. Before you head out, enjoy a hotdog and connect with other school families outside. It’s a great way to start the year in community!
The classrooms will be open from 4:00 – 5:00pm for supply drop off and then classroom doors will be locked.
The BBQ will be held outside of the school by the Staff room doors on the black top.
