Today was Grandparents Day at Huron Christian School! ✨
What a fantastic day we had celebrating our wonderful Grandparents and Grand-friends today!
Our students had the best time playing games, showing what they know, sharing stories, sharing best memories and creating more lasting memories with their grandparents and grand friends!!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for a full day at HCS - your love and wisdom mean the world to our whole school community. Each and every year is always day to remember!!
Last week, as a school, we came together to celebrate “All Belong Week”. On Wednesday, the students had lunch together with their Prayer Pals and each student was encouraged to design their own heart-art to show how they can show love to someone with a unique learning style.
To finish the week off, we had a guest speaker come in on Friday and share about his own learning experience, as a student, with ADHD. This was truly an amazing message and experience for all of us. Thank you Ryan for taking the time to share your journey with us!! 🥰

Huron Christian School will once again be offering our ‘Ready Set Alphabet’ program for children turning 4 in the year 2025. This program provides lots of worship, crafts, games and stories! This is a great stepping stone in getting ready for kindergarten in the fall! 🙌
The program will run every Thursday from April 3 to May 8.

This week at HCS we are celebrating All Belong Week, which means we explore how our brains develop differently and learn differently. We also will discuss how our school community is enriched by different learning styles as God has created us so uniquely!!
Yesterday the JK class was able to hear Addison from our Grade 4 class share about her Cochlear Implant and how this is so beneficial for her learning. Thank you for sharing, Addison!!
Tomorrow, March 26, we will finally be able to have Spirit Wear and Prayer Pal Lunch!
