Huron Christian School

Job openings

Huron Christian School (HCS) is inviting applications for a full time Principal position starting on August 1, 2021. If you are contemplating a change in schools but want to continue your administrative career, we are providing the opportunity for you and your school to make a smooth transition, allowing for your present school to have ample time to begin the search for their new principal.

HCS is looking for a person with proven leadership skills, a gospel centred Christian worldview, business administration skills and a strong positive academic aptitude with a vision for 21st century educational needs.

Huron Christian School is well established in Huron County as this year marks our 58th year of providing a Biblically based, academically excellent education. This is a testament to God's goodness and faithfulness. HCS’s enrollment has been steadily increasing, and we currently provide an education to 177 students from 80 families in grade JK - 8. Our curriculum meets Ontario Ministry of Education standards. It is delivered from a Biblical perspective by a team of dedicated, professional, fully certified, Christian teachers and support staff. We also provide a wide variety of extra-curricular activities.

HCS has just completed a major renovation/building project, so our school is an up to date facility with lots of flexible work space. We are located in the heart of Huron County, an agricultural community. The rich farm land meets the waters of Lake Huron along “Ontario’s West Coast”, with its beautiful beaches and sunsets. We are only an hour’s drive from London, and 45 minutes from Stratford, with the famous Shakespearean theatres.
